The sequel had a weird story that wasn't all that great, the no guns changed the way combat works, the world feels bland, npcs don't really interact all that much with anything outside of the story, there wasn't a good fear element in the game at launch and can be argued still doesn't have it. how about a dlc game mode that is sort of a raid-defense mechanic where there will be infected waves attacking a place and you have to dfend it, by killing the enemies you can get a currency to unlock characters that can help you defend the place but theyre AI. There will be 4 maps to defend: pk ship, pk metro station, bazaar, and fisheye.

and we get a leaderboard for who have the highest zombie wave for single player and coop

Virals have an adrenaline in themselves which they cannot control too much and also they are not resistant to the sun light or uv so they just feel lots of pain, since these are recently turned humans they can either feel the pain and scream but it just turns out in a different sort of way
