The game has only been difficult for me right at the start after the GNGL update when you are under leveled and cant take on 6 Volatiles at once, after a few combat levels, the right weapon and map awarness it becomes so easy, which is why I cant wait for Nightmare mode and hope its really good

I recently played Far Cry New Dawn and they have this feature called expeditions where you go to other locations outside of the main map to gather more resources, I think that would be a nice addition to DL2, that could have its own agent vendor and be a way to scavenge ammo for your normal guns, where makeshift weapons need their ammo to be crafted

Could also be a way to acquire new weapons on these missions

Personally, I think the story is alright. Bit surface level, but it's got potential to get deeper. All they need to do is expand on the relationships between factions, expand on already established lore. Also, despite Bloody Ties' story not being the best, it did make good use of integrating unique rewards like Outfits, and how Side Quests affected the Main Quest line (Camo Grease), and finally, how Optional Objectives also could affect the story (Roy). If they implement those features into the story of either a revised base game or DLC 2, they could make a pretty decent branching storyline

I wouldn't necessarily go that far. I mean there was a mostly central cast of characters: Aiden, Hakon, Lawan, unlike with DL1 where pretty much all the supporting characters aside from Jade disappeared halfway through the game and were replaced with new ones
