Yea the boss has like 3 phases with different attacks.

They are not a challenge first time you defeat them, you unlock the lvl 9 gre after you beat it once.

You need to upgrade your lock picks at the craftmaster. Eventually force open up to hard locks at highest level (tho uses more lockpicks when doing so).

Well if you plan for a new playthrough, and already beat the game, i suggest to wait for the update, we should get nightmare diff, some will do it in ng+, but a real challenge will be starting at lvl 1 on nightmare diff.

sometimes im wondering if volatiles are some kind of nannies to the infected, like how tf do volatiles just screetch and growl and walk, jump run inside hospitals etc. without waking any infected up, but if I even slightly approach or make a little sound they hear it and be like "hol up"

the thing is DL1 had the exact same world design.

DL2 is just MASSIVELY bigger in almost every regard. so DL1 in comparison looks more refined. but it only had like 2 house models in all of the slums. and 2 in all of old town. they just used them better cause it was a tighter map.

I think media needs to stop opting for the easy route, algorithm made made = less good, cgi is easy way out for movies but practical affects are so much nicer and cheaper

dl2 has unique areas like dl1 does but they are so far and few between in comparison to dl1 that they feel non-existent. more open air space mostly for looting and parkour.

dl2 also designs buildings in more distinct ways. very specific skyscraper designs and colors. you SEE the pattern and copy paste.

but in dl1 it was the same but everything blended together naturally because the few assets they had they used really well.
