for the first one, i'd agree
colors? well, i do not like piss much at times, but i guess it's good, so i agree
what did you mean by theme?
graphics - now that's instantly invalidated, as dying light 2 is just a more recent game, it has better lighting, textures, ray tracing technology, all stuff dl1 didn't have. disagreed
you already mentioned atmosphere
for music, i don't think any of the games even have listenable enough music, i just don't think they are worth even turning up volume for, so i have no opinion there.
character, as in main character? it's a tie, as in NPC's? well.. i have nothing to say here though.
weapons - now that's very interesting, as dl2 should have guns comping in january-february, we need to wait. for now, melee weapons in dl1 were satisfying to use, especially the endgame ones - as they cut so smoothly and juicy. dl2 does that at times, but not as often. I agree here too.
zombies - it might be a tie, due tu dl2 having some of the zombies come back but with a shittier AI. but then, it has more zombie types, elements, etc. so, i guess i should say the AI in dl1 wins, the variabilty in dl2 wins.
sounds - both characters have an object stuck up their asses while doing actions, but crane has a less annoying sound, as in weapons slashing, zombies footsteps etc, it's hard to fully explore everything, so, i'd say no opinion aswell.
physics- now that's for sure dying light 1. it was confirmed many many times, it's just superiour to dl2.

Theme as in the vibe the game gives, loneliness, melencholy feels mainly.

Graphics are better imo because it looks cleaner, less cartoony as in colorful, dyinglight2 looked better in e3 imo but had gotten worse

Music is better in dyinglight 1 because it adds to the atmosphere and ambience

Crane feels more real imo, the stuff he says and how he reacts,both are good though

Weapons as in variety, theres not a lot of weapons in dl2 or doesn't even feel like there is more than 100, I don't really use guns anyways and they tried to bring the "bounce" back from dl1 but did it really badly, long weapons have it which looks terrible, its too bouncy, bounces off heads and arms, and only bounces in the middle of the screen instead of where you hit people, just doesn't feel good and doesn't feel like slicing weapons don't stick in people

Zombies are a lot better in dl1 because they actually feel like zombies, they aren't aware of their surroundings, actually act like zombies, are stupid, and try anyway to get you even if it kills them

Sounds as in the ambience and the way they sound when hitting people, both sound good but dl1 does it better

The auto exposure in this game is borderline illegal if even the tiniest bit of light from the sky is on your screen everything else plunges into darkness and you can't see anything (if u dunno what auto exposure is imagine being in a dark room for a month, then seeing the light for the first time, your eyes have adjust cause everything is too bright, except dl2 adjusts for a brightness that doesn't exist and makes everything pitch black)

The latest trailers had, missing finishers, fog weather not in game, zombies models that weren't ingame, human models that weren't in game, foliage went from pretty green to dead brown, special infected in trailer spawned in locations they don't spawn, lighting way better it wasn't dark during the day like how it is now, hakon had different voice actor, lawan had different model and voice actor

Those are some of the things I remember that were false advertising in the latest trailers for the game

I mean, making the whole area darker during the day and the foliage browning adds some realism to what the concept of "Dying Light" is, as it's an actual world about to die

Also I can not be the only one who things the weapon animations at the start of the game were better, the new 1 handed weapon animations made me quit the game, I still don't use 1handed axes or blunt cuz I hate the animations the swings are pathetic for a literal super human
