one of those really cool small details in DL1 was at sunset, the zombies all stop, stare at the sun as it lowers. it was one of the many thing that added so much to that game, and its not here
what alot of people dont understand is that small details add up and create the overall atmosphere, i've said alot of stuff about the missing details of DL2 and people are like "ooo that doesnt matter thats so small" but, small issues add together to create a larger issue, in DL2's case an extremely unimmersive world

but DL1's safehouses were scace, but were unique with different things to do to make them safe, and did feel protected
DL2's prolouge sets that up, aiden finds that house and sets it up to be a safehouse for himself, but then in villedor its all just copy n paste ubisoft towers and tiny beds with a single uv lamp, no actual safeHOUSES you have to clear out and make safe

i'd prefer the nightrunner hideout to be a nightrunner tool that you had to set up yourself, being risky but if you do it secluded enough you can set it up without any harm and sleep, if it wasnt secluded enough you could be jumped in the middle of the night

Ah ok. So forming Volatiles and selling Mutation samples will not help you get weapons; other then give you more resources and money to buy or craft weapons with a Craft Master.
Personally I think the Blue Prints are really a good way of getting weapons.

The only time they would not are the Blueprint items that level up with you. So IF and that's a big IF (in my experience, to get a REALLY GOOD top tier roll for Affix) you are lucky/blessed/granted-a-miracle/make-a-pact-with-a-demon you get it it will level up with you and be good forever.

Honestly, I find that many of the Affix do not make much of a difference. My priority for Affixs:
1 = +Damage against Infected. NOTE: This is to ALL infected who have turned.
2 = +Stance Damage = more finishers, stuns and flings.
3 = +Damage Day/Night.
If I get at least #1 (Infected damage), I find the weapon useable, if I get 3 or 3+ its amazing.
