Truth be told my only complaint with the game so far is that I can't co-op with people on my friend list, but techland is responding to my emails so I'm not upset by it so much as it is just a minor inconvenience.

It's most likely an issue on my end seeing as my friends can join each other. What's weird about it is I can join them on any other co-op game, and I can quick join random gamers without being disconnected. Otherwise, the game has been fine so far.

I have noticed a lot of loose ends, story wise, as if they unplugged a lot of things last minute that should have been more involved/developed.

I appreciate their games, and their community. I just hope they prioritize fixing the community aspect of it so we can all suffer together, reliably, through any on-going bugs that may arise in the future. So long as I can mess about with my mates, any other existing issues we can laugh through.

Aight I've officially bought the game for two weeks, can say I really like it. For some time I just stuck to older reviews in order to make a decision but the game had such a glow-up, it's almost surprising I've never seen an ad for it (oh, welp, maybe adblockers are part of the reason why)

It can be somewhat harder to improve the story afterwards, as it is more difficult to test, should you force players to start a new game, or make choices happen retroactively? Starting a new game only really makes sense if changes come in bulk as well

It can be harder to pull off, whereas gameplay changes are much easier to notice and enjoy

I wouldn’t assume anything because they won’t ever fix the story.

I could see them adding extra scenes and what not, much like Baldur’s Gate 3 did, and they already added an ending to dl2 whereas before the ending was just really lame text

No need to restart a new game, just add them in like a treat

Yeah, if you just want simple changes that don't affect choices it can be done. More structural changes however would be harder to implement
