i know a bug from the gre anomalies, if you have your multiplayer on, have a chance of you complete the thing, but don't warp you back to the open world, leaving you stuck in that area

so I can't ignore how poorly encorporated the finishers are. If you are a high legend level you get up to a 150% damage increase to bare hands. If you purposefully avoid damage buffs on your gear you are still completely too high dps to be able to do finishers. They did cool work making them but by putting them in the game actually eliminate incentive to grind and play endgame content. Tested on hard difficulty, not on ng+ though
