I'm hoping that they make the gun mechanics somewhat SIMILAR to how the boomstick works ; craftable, ammo is limited but might also be craftable via obtainable blueprints, and limited usage before jamming or breaking

Military had confiscated all firearms from civilians for their own usage against the infected, after a while they ran out of ammunition, its never disclosed to us what happened with the firearms that were confiscated, but apparently the only guns that are in Villedor atleast (doubt that they'd make a full on mini-storyline for Aiden travelling outside of the walls and stumbling across modern firearms) are the ones that General Pratt had kept away in a gunstash, which was at an unknown location
