the Dark Hollow under the Fish Eye on the map almost always has a volatile hive, just go on kill everything except the hive and farm the virals, while you kill the one's inside there are bunch of them that also spawns outside and will try to get to you but cant because the entrance is blocked with boards, they will end up falling off all around the building so depending on how long you are willing to farm you can easily get a few hundred to even a few thousand, when you are done inside and have looted all the virals, go outside and pick up all the loot packages all around the building, after about an hour or so you can have about 1200 common trophies

I agree guns were there and still are. Problem is that they got stashed away on secret places (modern ones) before everything fell down. BUT with how many very skilled craftmasters is there...They should be able to make them by their own (ammo wouldn't be problem at all as well). I don't speak about modern guns, because those would be too hard to make, but about some crafted ones :D. Anyway, there should be implemented some quests that would give us extra lore and maybe even modern gun stashes on different places etc.
