It's very hard to get in a situation to do this because they are always surrounded by other renegades and they are all dealing with infected in their vicinity...
Either headshot all the other renegades and make the guy with the horn lose sight, then sneak behind them...
Or there are certain dark hallows that contain renegades, you can sneak in the dark and stealth strangle/stab.

Because it made sense there. Being an OG player yourself, it made sense for a world that wasn’t wrecked to have easy access to guns with a military was sent out. Story wise for dl2 is doesn’t make sense, especially in a European country where guns are super hard to obtain and wouldn’t be as widespread as in America.
