The problem with btz is that nothing is designed together. Everything is added on top of something that wasn't made with the update in mind. With DL, Techland is in an inescapable cycle of improvising because they couldn't plan ahead. The DL game and universe are complete spaghetti.
That is why DL is messy and only gets worse with time. Their biggest flaw is lack of anticipation. They are a studio that used to react on short notice. I hope they have learned from this and not repeat these mistakes with DL2.

If I’m being honest here, there isn’t any point in trying to play btz in the first place. It’s exhausting and unbalanced, with cheaters, laggers and tryhards everywhere.

But if you really do want to get better just listen closely.

• by “High ground finishers” I assume you mean death from above kill for hunters. There is a method to counter this, you just have to run a little on the ground while looking up at your enemy above , and hold the tackle button. So when the survivor jumps on you and gets closer, you immediately tackle him mid-air

Just going to put out that in a 1v1 a human can throw 2 flares max before getting a cooldown. If survivor’s usually camp in these flares, just try to ground pound him with the flare, or just tackle him. Important piece of advice, have keybinds for stuff like spits and especially attack cancel. Usually the button to cancel attack is “Z” by default but you can change it to whatever is easily accessible to you. The attack cancel allows you to cancel a ground pound or a charging spit. It helps a lot and you can trick survivors sometimes by faking ground pounds

Yes, it can ! It has a long period of lag after hitting the ground though so you got to use it carefully.
