when someone was above you and it looks like you stopped their dfa, they wouldn't actually have dfad you even if you never gpd. OR the gp wouldn't have stopped the dfa if you did it after the dfa was initiated.

like if you dropkick a hunter but get tackled before it lands that's because both clients started doing their actions before either of the messages reached the other end

and the reason only one of the mutual attacks goes through is because that was initiated first.
That means the hunter ground pounded before the human even started their dfa or dropkick

And the definition of interruption is to stop the progression of something. Can't stop what hasn't even begun.

Btw don't even try to gp someone who is above the level of your eyes. The GP hitbox height was something incredibly shit like 1,5 or 2 meters. You could virtually stand on top of the hunter and they would miss their fucking gp.
