that is easy.

first.

There is a fucking script that forces the nh to make a sound every time they tendril or perform some action. And the tendril sounds are emitted from the grappling positions. You're playing without a headset if suppression gets you killed that easily

That's interesting... but maybe I've just forgotten how it felt to start.
You see what I remember feeling like when I was newer was that fighting less people sucked because I didn't like them dealing more damage. But now it's completely flipped around and I'd fight the least amount of survivors any day. Just because when the level of gameplay gets higher people start to abuse the end of animations more and with increasing precision. That means if you end up in a bad spot you might have to dodge 3 dfas in a row and sometimes there's nothing you can do because your grace time ended from colliding into a wall. When you know how to control situations, the forced loss of that control feels worse than anything.

They drain you slower the more of them there are so now you have 1 less light to worry about

try to separate them and you can fight the other guy without getting exhausted

since u probably wont be on full stamina

the primary principle is

never to tackle someone directly

as long as they look at you, assume they'd always dodge it

sometimes lag can make it show they're looking away when they've really already turned to you, too, so don't rely on what you see every time

and the uv block lasts like 0.5 seconds

so i dont even have time to think about what im doing

if you tendril the ground in an angle that doesn't make you do the weird bump animation, you'll find yourself gaining speed when you hold the tendril all the way until it finishes lets go on its own while sprinting

people sprint and tendril the ground a few meters ahead of them

it makes them faster and it's called tendril sprinting

it's basically the equivalent of bunnyhop in DL but 10x easier and it's something you want to learn to do all the time to set up tackles that will actually land

zig zag back and forth and circle people to get to some angle where they won't be looking at you at the moment of the tackle

but dont make it obvious

you appear slower than you think.

i have a friend who used cheatengine in another not on Steam game... when he opened Steam and went to play Dying Light... he forgot cheatengine open... joined a match that had two players and when he left was banned... he couldn't stand not playing the DL... he had to create another profile and bought the DL again... the difference that before he didn't have all the DLC's and now he has... at least it served as a lesson for him not to forget anymore and ended up buying the full game
