  • Is easy to counter with UV flashlight by shining it on the hunter for even a microsecond (or being in a flare)
  • Is punishable for being spammed or used mindlessley
  • Has to be earned either by playing around UV light or panicked/distracted survivors

DFA is a 1 hit KO but:

  • The hunter is dead the moment the animation starts
  • Can be countered with tackle but sometimes the hunter is in an animation where they can't turn and the hunter has to actually aim at the human and press E
  • Missing is has almost no punishment since unless they did it from a stupid height and didn't grapple cancel the fall dmg
  • Can be spammed with little to no concequence

is it advised to play as a team, im new to BTZ only have had 7 matches so far 4 being solo. and I do a lot better in a team than solo.

in solo I just get spawn camped with a mixture of spam spit and tackles that I cant seem to avoid. I know im not that great but its not very accessible when I dont even know what im doing wrong lol.

Honestly getting max skills on the hunter is grindy asf, the best way IMO is to spit stuck people as much as possible. If you find a game with a newer player you can afford to just mess with him and spit/ground pound/tackle as much as possible to grind XP without actually killing him until the end of the game. Might as well have some fun with them since they aren't that good at fighting hunters yet.

If nobody jumps straight after you or you're already on the ground and there is a survivor above you, just look up, sprint in a circle while holding tackle key and make sure you don't jump.

If you're falling off of a high place and you think people jump straight after you to dfa, don't make a single input nor turn more than 90 degrees to extend the animation. The mechanic that prevents you from being dfad or dropkicked during tackle or pounce is grace time and it lasts for a couple seconds after the interaction with the survivor as long as you don't end it yourself.

familiarize yourself with this and the times you die from dfa will go down 50%. Acknowledge what each survivor is doing in 3p and 4p gamemodes and you prevent another 25% from the casual campers
Hate dfa even more? Mind your positioning so that you rarely end up in situations where people are above you. Might prevent 10% more.
Unfortunately the last bit of dfas are unpreventable and often happen incredibly unexpectedly due to the retarded state of the game, or from inevitable dev oversights, or from sweaty anim campers.
