Judging from all these videos it would seem that the zombie is not strong enough to go against survivors, even worse against 3-4 of them. Hopefully in DL2 there will be a more challenging Zombie the players can control that will actually instill fear in the survivors.

Easter egg items were NOT designed to be put in BtZ, you can easily abuse every easter egg item and use it in BtZ, becoming very frustrating to play against.
