Let me explain, the most basic insta tackle is just holding your tackle key when you're in an existing tackle animation whether it's an evaded or successful one. Also works with pounce evade anim in DLR but I'm unsure about vanilla because it's incredibly hard to time right.
But I discovered a faster way to insta tackle someone against a wall, you hold E and Shift and then tap W the second they begin falling down again, you'll tackle MUCH sooner than if you just held E, and they don't even have a chance to hit you between the tackles unlike they do with the slow version. This one's easy to practice in the tutorial map.
