Can someone explain to me how some people do a ground pound without having to swing first? Sometimes I see Night Hunters ground pound almost instantly after a tendril, and I wanna learn how to do that if it's not just a ping thing

To perform a howl GP, you simply howl and ground pound right after which will cancel the clawing animation. Once you get the timing down you can make it seem like you pull out a ground pound from thin air.

It still takes the same amount of time to activate, it's just that you don't lose any speed or control over your Hunter since there is no animation.

I just feel so powerless when the other side has low ping. As Hunter, they can dodge my tackles while they face the other side (on my screen) because they were actually looking at me on their screen but the delay is huge

Or I jump high but I still get hit from far because of delay, or I get out of DFA range but I get sucked back in because of delay. Shit that doesn’t happen in good ping games

Maybe I’m just bad but that’s my experience with low-ping games

Yeah, I have experience with peer to peer games. With good connection it’s nice, but with bad connection it’s a literal nightmare

I try to avoid low-ping games but sometimes the only good ping games are 1v1’s and I absolutely hate 1v1, I prefer 3 or 4v1 as Hunter

1v1 is just so slow paced. In my opinion, the more survivors there are the more fun it is, for both sides. Sure, you’ll have a harder time but it’s more fast-paced, there’s just more going on and you get your abilities way faster than you do in 1v1

Some of them may use devmenu to reset animations like dfa and basically teleport out of them before they finish and kill the nh
Some that are still retarded but not idiots might have animations from 2017 before they removed insta-tackle and they can tackle you immediately after you evade their tackle (no movement, just a 180 degree turn)
some may have instantly refreshing cooldowns so they just spam abilities like in the tutorial map
and if they have devmenu they can crash you by changing their playermodel or dropping a special item
