I believe quick join ignores ranks completely, so you may get paired with anyone. Same with browser thing; it just shows red bars if theres big skill gap, but nothing stops hunter from joining.

But yeah anyway, thats called matchmaking pretty much. Killing (winning) single apex doesnt make game think youre pro, so maybe was just coincidence peepoCreepy
