Honestly it's usually easier to kill them when they're in a safe zone, because they can't use their UV Flashlight and when you're I'm a safe zone it only takes away health, not that stamina bar, so you can easily pounce them.
Only problem is the safe zones that allow them to drop flares and use UV Flashlight inside, like that old guy's store who is trying to make the perfect weapon for a zombie apocalypse in Old Town. (At first he is at The Slums in the fishing village bt after doing a few challenges he moves to Old Town)
