just got off the phone with the decency delivery man he said this morning's shipment tipped on the highway after a tire blew out and like 8 different oncoming vehicles crashed into it and caught fire, he's in the hospital rn next to a family of 4 in coma who are the only survivors since the whole fire department only recovered charred remains of the others after a 4 hour operation. frankly it's not looking good because the insurance company stopped responding due to us bypassing regulations since 2019 so i can't promise to refill our decency stock for at least another month as i'm trying to give my last shot at escaping bankruptcy. it's starting to look like moving over the horizon is the only option apart from calling "guess that's it."

all connects into the spike played a strict "wallsplat into a direct wall" animation for the crane himself. meaning game recognizes that crane is being thrown into a "wall" typea thing.
but after the animation he bounces off of the spikes just like he bounces off of a wallsplat.
strictly a gp problem. all other spiking methods work still for my testing.

IIRC the game sends a cone of rays into the push direction of the victim that search for usable spikes that have to be facing a certain angle towards the rays and if they find one it'll be a spike kill but the gp is finicky because it creates upwards knockback instead of just sideways so because fear decreased the diameter of the spike scan it might be that with some specific type of spike you can't align it on level ground anymore 
but if that was true I'd think it'd still work on a pole spike of all things so Idk

rn theres no motivation to evolve so there's many people who just hit max level and stay there, to fix this.
make evolving somewhat similar to a legend system, where you gain hp and damage resistance with mutating. alongside extra skills for mutations 2 and 3.
make flares have longer cooldown and if you run out of uv (not uv suppressant) the cooldown is longer, make missing a dropkick more punishing (can't uv in animation and longer animation) BUT make it do around 50 or so damage
and remove animation canceling
and reduce heavy weapons damage cuz wtf, i should be at 30 hp after one hit, and not one tapped by a simple thrown heavy.

Also concussive spit is super strong and way better and more relevant than survivor sense spit
You can blow up barrels to insta kill survivors, or knock them off of buildings to make them fall to their deaths
Or even just knock them over so you can follow up with toxic spit while they’re down, and animation lock them so they can’t escape

Flares have already been nerfed from before, they’re in a good spot now. Also survivors can’t look around while in the dropkick animation so if you pounce them from anywhere apart from right in front of them you should be able to get them.
