Hello, I'm gonna need some advice - there are certain cheaters that enable something preventing me from kicking them out of my sessions in Invasions. Is there a reliable way to prevent blocked accs on Steam from joining since I got invaded by 2 of them already as they cheat with Hunter ? When Survivors cheat, I am usually able to catch them off guard quickly enough and kick them once or twice, but once they reconnect a 2nd/3rd time I am powerless to do anything. Just now, I had a massive ping spike, and my game got crashed twice since the same guy keeps reconnecting in my games as a Survivor, he wasn't happy about being kicked out twice for pouncing Survivors as a Survivor himself.

Theirs no real way to fight it, only thing I can recommend is obviously blocking them and changing you’re steam name. You can also just make it “friends only” in the game type. Hunters can still join when it’s on if I remember right

I guess I have no other choice honestly. The guy has been joining me since, pouncing the Hunter as a Survivor, explosions spawned everywhere around the map, safehouses full of toxic spit killing you upon respawning etc..

Yeah the “vac” kinda does fuck all anyways vs cheaters, always keep it off, makes it easier to get hunters

It's messed up since the VAC bans some of them have are restricted per game, not to all VAC enabled games. If that was the case, at least half of them would be magically removed from the game.

this is true was playing hunter earlier and got an excuse from two people one started using dev menu, their reason behind it, they said my gp range was modded. Yes I am a mutation lvl 1 zombie at lvl 8 with a gp range mod apparenty didn't even know that was a thing. I guess that justifies him using dev menu to escape pounce and use uv after he's already been hit by uv spit i guess. I'm assuming their braincells couldn't comprehend video game lag and defaulted to ohh he must be cheating so let me cheat as well.

Just use another crossbow but if you want the closest thing, there's the dawnlight but it's awful since it shoots 4 bullets like a shotgun and you need them all to hit to deal the same as last wish so 9/10 times you'll hit 1 or 2 and deal almost nothing.
