I'm usually a positive guy and I genuinly enjoy playing btz a lot, but man is it a pain in the A for new players
It's worth a try though, you should coop with a good player so that you won't suffer a flawless loss
First couple matches are gonna be annoying because there's many things the game doesn't tell you that you need to figure out how to avoid and deal with
That a hunter doesn't need much momentum for example to tackle you, or that he can tackle you while he's on top of something but is still in range to tackle you

Yes, and the toxic won't actually deal damage while they're down but it's really good to gp, then pounce or tackle while they're getting up to animation lock them pretty much in the toxins.

Keep switching from "Night" to "Anytime" invasions constantly, that's the only way it works for me. If it happens to be daytime when you switch to Night invasions, skip the day by sleeping.
the only difference quests have is what part of the story you are, Hunter can see that in the matchmaking list but it doesn't make any difference

I left my invasions ON by accident while helping someone with Fever challenges, asked the Hunter to leave politely yet they refused and kept spamming some nonsense in the chat and started hacking. When I said smthg along the lines of "leave or I can crash your game, which do you prefer ?" he replied with "I'll crash yours first" and poof - he finally left. Long story short, try triggering hackers to leave you alone by crashing your game.

I probably met the youngest hacker in DL on BTZ Survivors as a part of my team, claims to be a 16 yr old on his profile. Already VACd 2+ yrs ago on CS:GO. Not to mention he 100%-d all games with SAM. Never too early to start ruining your life bit by bit I guess. Once he went full blatant and we realized he's cheating, we kicked him out. He reconnected and crashed the match.

Don't worry, they're just bad players. Had a 6 game winning streak on Survivor side, even ranked up to Underdog, and got a legendary knife as a 2nd drop š . For the first time ever, a Hunter who had no spits or defense maneuvers unlocked whatsoever accused me of hacks because 1. I kept tracking him constantly with the Light until he was drained. and 2. Cause I accidentally dropkicked him into spikes once.
