I think Microsoft is just buying studios and not really thinking so much about why, the amount they have bought is crazy yet every game released I struggle to enjoy for more than a week.

The problem isn’t they don’t have talent or funding or that they just don’t know what to do it’s that Microsoft clearly doesn’t get how to make a live service game that’s enjoyable for more than a few days at a time and never makes singleplayer apart from starfield which we are yet to see

This could be because of too many studios and poor management or it could be to do with what Sony said. They said they wouldn’t make a game pass equivalent for first party games where they come day one because the quality of the games would decrease significantly and it seems Microsoft may be living proof of that.

I would love to see Microsoft make a first party game and not involve it in gamepass at all just to see how different the quality in gameplay and story is.

At least that’s my take on the whole Microsoft situation atm

Definitely interesting, I do think that the QA team plays a part in the blame here and I think if they found a better res my hat didn’t lie as much the game would’ve released much less broken than it did considering they threw too many minor bugs at them that took up their time rather than big ones like the article says.

That said I still think CDPR plays a role in this as either way it would’ve released broken but I think it would’ve been less broken if the QA team was more professional
