let me give you an example of why tlou1 is miles better than 2, tlou1 had two characters henry and sam, and I DID not know how they died, but I knew they died. But, when they died it still hurt me, and almost made me cry and showed me how utterly miserable the world was, but then the game has one of the more hopeful sequences, the dam and it shows people living and continuing through hope, it shows ellie digging their grave and putting the robot there, and it makes sense because ellie is supposed to symbolize love and hope, so she always looks on the hopeful side.
