Playing them back to back only made me appreciate elden ring more though. Coming off of horizon where there's no exploration and everything is being played out in front of me, into elden ring where I feel like a little bitch getting punked by everything in the open world and having a natural exploration

I also hate how everytime I engage with any puzzle in the story or open world, aloy immediately tells me the solution before I even get a chance to do it myself

Eh I disagree, I don't think any of them look dated because of how unique the art style is. Sure they aren't the most graphically advanced but the art direction holds it together and makes it look good even by today's standards.

In ds1, anor Londo is still impressive the first time you get there, in ds3 the first time you enter irithyll is breathtaking, and in bloodborne I especially love the shots of castle cainhurst and the early yharnam areas

I reckon demons souls probably looks extremely dated by now because that game is very grey and brown
