when I ended up in Sellia Crystal Tunnel at lvl 30 I was in a bad pickle but I just kept picking up my souls until I figured out the way out

go right from the spawn hut and climb up the ladder and there is a route that loops on top of the structure in front of the spawn hut, and you can kick down a ladder to skip that loop the next time. Then you can rush to the ladder you kicked down in case you die and skip the other route. From the point you kicked the ladder if you continue to the left there should eventually be a way out IIRC
