Here's a tip; if a single roll doesn't dissipate an illusory wall, there is none. Also bloodstains tell you a lot about unreachable places plus you can test lethal height by dropping a prism stone (called rainbow rock or something in ER, I'm used to DKS names)

Then you enter a literal nightmare where the water is knee deep and the roof of a forest blocks the sky, from where you go into a catacomb that is a maze lit by torches in itself, and upon opening just another door after spending time underground you immediately step into a moon lit boreal valley with a literal disney logo city and aurora borealis and frozen rivers and snow

Stepping into Irithyll for the first time was the most breathtaking thing in the entire game

No, no that's the one that took me to the clay men area and then you go through the dam, run up the river and the ancestor spirit bossfight is there, I found a way to get to a cliff where there was another boss sleeping in a big puddle but it 1-shot me with every attack at the time so I didn't bother. The second elevator takes you to Caelid and there's nowhere else to go in the area where the small one takes you.
