The haptics in the controller are good for this game

The adaptive triggers too make your bow feel like it has tension

Depends. HL1 is more akin to stuff like Doom in terms of difficulty, HL2 isn't that difficult, Jollywangcore puts it like this, they for example ruined the zombies, in HL1 you couldn't just run up to them and whack them repeatedly with the crowbar, you had to time it with their claw swipes, hl2 though that's not the case. HL1 (and by extension Blue Shift and Opposing Force) also have SOOOOOOOOOOOOO many well made mods, Residual Point, Azure Sheep, Operation Rosenberg, Zombie Edition, and so much more. But if you ask me, the best way to experience Half-life 1 nowadays is with Black Mesa

Oh yeah and Echoes most definitely!
