We actually first tried a lot of the bosses in coop since my brother is pretty good and carried me for the most part

so if you ever really need that help

you atleast have NPC summons

instead of players

NPCs might not do much in terms of damage but a boss getting distracted gives a really huge advantage

I had such a bad time trying to beat the Dancer it almost turned me off the game, cus it was the hardest boss for me at the time since I was doing it solo

I talked to Uncy when he was streaming and he had to rebind stuff

Looks like you can customize a lot with controls which is great

Also, there's SOO MANY BOSSES, I think there are more bosses than DS1 2 and 3 combined

Just anything essential that the game won't tell me or I'll waste an hour figuring out finding myself

but as for tips you should know
-The game now includes a jump button, meaning you can jump on the spot without having to run
-You have a pouch you can equip items in for quick activation without having to scroll trough a lot of items
-You can dual wield by holding F and pressing Left click
-You can change your weapon while on horse from right hand to left hand by doing the same as above
-You can replenish your estus by killing groups of enemies
-Getting on and off your horse gives you i-frames
-Giant Wind Pillars can be both used to throw your horse into the air, but can also be used to jump from above down below without dying
-JUMPING FROM GREAT HEIGHT WITH YOUR HORSE AND DOING A DOUBLE JUMP NEAR THE GROUND WILL NOT BREAK THE FALL, IT WILL KILL YOU
-Enemies with Glowing Eyes give you 5x more runes

Some weapons can stagger some enemies that others can't

Like enemies on horses (not bosses, common ones)

It's not incredibly useful but good to know to try out different weapons on enemies you struggle with

Why is everybody building faith

Doesn't it just increase your magic damage?

No? It's an entire subcategory of magic with it's own spells

Miracles, dragon incantations and pyromancy all require faith

That's how it's been in pretty much every dark souls game. You have faith and sorcery as the two different branches of magic

Thankfully you can respec in the game later on so you can still use spells if you started of on a strength build and some spells are nutty in Elden ring

The Statues are 90% of the time near a boss fight
