That's not me saying "shit game!!1", its just not my type of game. I like the challenge, but its so dry and boring to me as a story-game person. There's no lore, no characters to become attached to, not even quests that have meaning, aside from a one-liner from the person giving it to you

Graphics are also pretty dated

Like i'd prefer a souls-like skyrim modlist any day over ER.

I'm a souls veteran, and I can tell you this, all games since Dark Souls have some of the best world building you'll see, especially Bloodborne and Dark Souls 3. Problem is, it's not evident, and you actively have to look for it in the item descriptions, listen to the character dialogue, and analyse the world itself
