Ubisoft seems to be trying to turn every single one of their franchises into an RPG now, and that includes Far Cry, with tiered loot and enemy levels, stuff like that. Even a normal enemy will soak up three magazines of 7.62 or several rounds of .338 if they're higher level than you, and I don't like that at all. I do believe 5 is the better game.

well, I don't think it's better. or worse, for that matter, it's just a really different game that does maintain the story structure and parts of the shooter gameplay, that comes back to the engine though. It's much, much more like Far Cry New Dawn gameplay-wise. If I could only have one, I'd go for 5 every time, it's much simpler but that's where the fun comes from. 6 has so god damn many aspects and functions that none of them really feel all that fleshed out, just for the sake of having them. It feels pretty confused at times, and especially the gameplay loop is messy as all hell and eventually comes down to loot-whoring and avoiding combat because it just isn't as fun as it used to be with the deadlier weapons and more intuitive movement. Far Cry 6 shoved in even more of that "goofy funny stuff" that's been coming up, and instead of a little laugh at the side it's more and more becoming the series' main focus, to the point where everything about it is just over the top and ridiculous. I'd play Borderlands if I wanted crazy guns and one-note jokes disguised as quests.

6 is by far the best thing ubisoft is capable of in its current state, but 5 was just a different ubisoft. The only reason to get 6 is if you're really, really sick of 5, and even then I'd say play 3, 4, ND, Primal, BD and 2 before going for this because there's nothing really new here, just smart playtime padding.

The nanite system is build in LoD. It pretty much makes the game not render the stuff it doesn't see by itself, without having to code it yourself
