You have different healing animations depending on what you were last damaged by. Here are some examples.

Taking fall damage or blunt damage (being hit by enemy) = putting dislocated fingers and stuff back into place.

Being shot = taking bullet out, wrapping it with bandage etc.

Explosive damage = taking shrapnel and other stuff out of your hands and stuff.

It’s been a staple for the series since I think 2.
