It can be pretty frustrating at times. In general, death is usually a result of being unprepared for a particular fight, getting caught off guard, or being over confident. It's challenging at first, generally each death should be a learning experience. If you get frustrated easily, it would probably be really tough to get enjoyment out of it.

I wouldn't discourage at least giving it a try. You might actually enjoy it. It actually gets really fun once you get past the learning curve of how to approach combat
