the thing is base aw is not a bad game, its multiplayer has one of the most terrible loot systems in gaming history. If you remove all the dlc and variants the vanilla aw is awesome but once you add all that stupid garbage nobody wants to give a shit including me despite my love for it

Infinite warfare didn't deserve the hate it got, it had a great campaign and pretty decent MP

I tried the full release MP when I was still playing cods a lot and I was utterly disgusted by how wrong it felt. Coming from aw and bo3 the exo movement was a total joke compared to its predecessors and ttk & gun balance felt like someone coded it in 10 minutes. The story's cool though. I saw a playthrough once. Poor Ethan.

I think the campaign is actually pretty awesome. The cybercores are something I only saw once in a shooter and it was so much fun I still miss that feature to this day. The story also felt like nonsense to me at the time and the zombie version of the story was a fucking joke because it was nothing but reused assets though it's understandable but it definitely killed the vibe to see the same animation with replaced dialogue.

Later I went through the story again

and it's actually not nonsense

it's just vaguely presented

but it has no connection to previous black ops

First of all, how did Epic steal an idea from another game when Among Us was basically like a nerfed down version of Trouble in Terrorist Town from GMod which was inspired by Murder Mystery type of games. Epic store does not offer as much as steam, but did steam offer them as well when it first started? No, they got added over time. On top of that, Epic does offer better deals for indie developers to get more money out of it. Epic exclusivity is shit, but it forces competition and Steam might in the future have the create better deals if they want to still be on top

since BF1 planes are paper, anything can damage them but certain bullets deal less than 1 damage

so a rendezook could be done using some firearm because rocket guns need their bipod deployed

also having different classes in a plane is not a problem, the planes are totally landable and another class can take them back to the sky

what else is there...

maybe like anti tank grenades

I guess throwing one could be the equivalent of shooting a rocket

and it would remove the problem of not killing the fighter before its engine gets disabled (has to be above certain HP)

Then again I'm not entirely sure whether the engine actually gets disabled if you only shoot a wing until it's HP gets down to grenade damage

but I see it as a possibility

just so unlikely to happen coincidentally that it will never be done in practice without a setup

Nicely done, congratulations. But yes, it is a rather grindy journey. I recommend just biting the bullet, putting some good music or a podcast on, and just grind away and try to not think too much about it, that's what I did. Just played whoever I got paired up against/with, pros, beginners, and anything in between, and suddenly 50 games had past, then 100, and eventually 300.

Listen. I don’t want to have a ongoing conversation about it. So i’ll just list why it’s a horrible story with a terrible plot.

1. Horrible flashbacks.
   Not enough was explored on Ellie’s and Joel’s relationship. It taught us nothing except the fact that Ellie didn’t like Joel which we obviously new from the start of the game when we saw Ellie get mad at Joel in the dance scene. Also, the flashbacks with Abby and Owen are blatantly just stupid. It tells you about their relationship, which i can guarantee, nobody wants to hear. Let alone the entire fan base wanting her to die.

2. No plot motivation.
   Now YOU say I missed the point of the story. Although what you don’t understand, is that if they wanted to teach forgiveness. They wouldn’t have made us kill all of Abby’s friends (Leah, we the player did not kill her but we would have if we got to her sooner, Nora, killed in the hospital, practically died to spores and infection. And finally Mel and Owen, killed in the aquarium). Another point, if we were destined to forgive Abby, why would they make her such an unlikeable character? All she does it endlessly kill people, same with Ellie, nonsense after nonsense. Ellie and Abby just kill people with no humanity. And don’t tell me they do it for survival, they aren’t affected by it at all. And don’t say well they wouldn’t be affected by it because they’ve fought the infection and survived for so long. Now back to how bad the plot motivation is, let’s move on to how the plot is horrible.

3. Horrible plot.
   Let’s take LOTR (Lord of the Rings) for example, Frodo, the protagonist, is set to destroy the ring at Mount Doom where it was forged by Sauron thousands of years ago. Now, let’s take a look at Aragorn, another protagonist. Aragorn is fighting, surviving, killing and more. Except there is a plot to play. He is fighting for his people, the Elves. He has a motivation, a good one. That leads to cross paths with Frodo, and eventually face their fate.

I agree the pacing was trash. put the flashbacks as a part of the intro that elad to joels death and it would have been much more impactful. but overall it has a great point that is very highly debated on in media. which is realism. people can die out of nowhere and how does that impact someone like ellie. was it a good impact or justified? etc
