It makes killing easy, as one of its abilities is basically a space nuke and all of its abilities are designed to deal damage. It's also the tankiest archwing stat-wise. But is it necessary to be able to kill? No, it just makes it easier.

Honestly, I'd recommend getting both as they're great at what they do. But if you had pick one up rn, I'd say the Amesha as its defense capabilities and utility is unrivaled.

In a way people wanted choices that impact the story and course of the game heavily. I'm not sure it would fit CP77. I enjoyed coming at the end and still having the possibility to chose the final path, mostly because it was a very long game for me (around 300h at that time when I went for the ending). It wouldn't be fun as the game is rn, for me, to re-run forced hand, because the leveling is looooooooooooooong. Overall that wouldn't be a big complaint from me, I liked it how it was in CP77, because of how the city is done. While in DL2 I have a different expectation, because I expect the city and the story to be tailored differently. In that field DL2 will be more of a milestone in storytelling techniques than CP77 was, but I didn't expect such a thing from CP77.

If you wanna get better at killing those three guys, here's something you should know
Only the spear guy can be parried.
If you let him do the long charge, you can dodge it by locking onto him and strafing to your right. Then you can easily backstab him.
You can also walk behind the sword one by sticking close and walking around him when he does the slam the ground attacks. Otherwise a good way to deal with these guys is to land full charge heavy attacks on them in a timing where they won't get to hit you back. They hit hard but they give you some windows and their attacks aren't that fast. If you can abuse that right, you'll be throwing them around like a bag of trash

I did place them at important entries to objectives, however they varied either between the last or the second last entrance that led into obj, and always depending on barricades or angles I placed them on heights and sides where they would be the hardest to see or destroy and I pretty much mastered that whole thing eventually

One of my favorite things to do was place one at a half broken barricade

I'd break it on the upper or lower side and place the trap on the remaining planks
