Maybe that's the point that made me like the model, I never really believed in the eyes they gave her in the reboot

While I find these eyes more interesting

Like in the edit you linked, they reworked the space between the eye and the nose, and curved the nose more, it's simple but it works to create a different face (also shrunk the space between cheeks and chin, simple but efficient)

Imo THE reboot, as in the first one from the series (still have that installed even), was a pretty good start already.

An origin story, but also a unique-ish look etc.

Ofc could've done better from the start and not need the definitive edition later on (or a specific version/tweaks that were too much depending on the camera angle but eh)

On the left it feels like there wasn't enough effort etc put into the model... but maybe they were lacking the technology at the time (seems a bit sus)

Had they given the original face an upgrade (not the definitive edition look), but kept good facial features intact-ish, it would've been an original looking lara etc.
