Assassins creed for a lot of people (most people) is a history game. When they look at the games they’ll often think things like:
“Oh wow we’re gonna be in Greece?”

While the same cannot he said now assassins creed was never meant to be a historical fantasy RPG. It was meant to be assassins creed.

My main frustration with this series lies with the simple fact that it’s not made for the assassins vs Templar story, but Is rather a cheap cash grab history game who’s only purpose is to keep you playing with annoying mtx and mindless content. The most recent dlc is an example.
The story of it is typical Ubisoft filler which yet again, uses isu tech as an excuse for magic items and events.

It ties up the kenway saga and connects to Unity, I liked Shay more than a lot of assassins.
Of course AC3 is fucking looked down upon so much, while it's the only game where the player has a bittersweet ending (Connor's purpose is lost, ||Desmond dies||).
