@eternal trench the way Rust works is that all your progress is inside each server specifically. Everyone who joins starts fresh and the progress will be wiped clean every month. But until then you can fight your way into dominating a server, if that's what you want. If you don't like the people in some particular server you can just go in another and start over. There are probably thousands of Rust servers.

I can tell you what I didn't like so far (just started) :
-Crazy long load times
-feels and plays like every other 3rd person AA game (in story, looks and play mechanics), and way too much talking/story for me. Kill infected is boring and repetitive, much like TLOU, where you avoid mostly. I love stealth games ,but I've come to realize stealthing infected is not a fun for some reason, just annoying.

I like the graphics and atmosphere though.

I also jusy started Control. Way more fun and interesting game for me.

It's cool/fun game to me. It's a game (like most games i am into) where the gameplay is fun, regardless of story. The atmosphere is the other strong point. Story is good, an interesting twist and presentation on an old story concept (so far, only played a few hours).

So far the story is in between Resident Evil and Evil Within kinda thing, but it's told in a unique/nonlinear way.
