I found some success in going for the arms very early on with the BFG ammo as it's easier to just shoot his head and chest once you need to use your own weapons and dance around with all the demons.

Yeah, I guess I could use it a little more. So many Pain Elementals spawning in.
I reckon the first 3 levels are going to be the hardest with Cultist Base being the big climax, possibly the hardest one in the run. After that you'll still need to put up a good fight for the Doom Hunters then you can breathe for a while until you get to Sentinel Prime where it peaks again with the Gladiator fight. After that I'd say it's smooth sailing all the way until the final boss. So like three peaks or so and the Icon of Sin being the most important to be consistent with for obvious reasons.
I'll see what I can dig up. I suppose it would be good to start with using more Crucible ammo.
