The horses are so much better in red dead redemption 2 that its honestly mind blowing. I compared both versions right next to eachother and discovered you cant even do simple things like this in rdr1

Because range is usually important to survival. So why not remove that aspect?

I’ve ran a full shotgun loadout, well as close it as possible. Using the mayor a the auto shotgun is one hell of a combo.

And if you keep your bike nearby you can keep filling up on ammo and blasting

The sniper you get for doing NG+ is pretty cool, it has the different ammo types but ultimately the 50cal is my go to.

it takes you to a secret room but there's also a little door you can open to jump onto the roof and after jumping on a few other roofs you can get back to penthouse

unrelated, but i was playing half sword earlier and beat an opponent, but when i walked over his dead body, my bare foot ran into his axe blade and it cut off my foot, and all i could do was scream, bleed, and hop around

One thing I really like about Leon's sections of the game (do not read if you dont want even mild gameplay spoilers) is that his gameplay feels very new compared to re4make

re4make's combat is pretty consistent, re9 plays like its own thing, that's very interesting to me

felt like they'd do the same thing in terms of even the combat structure but that isnt the case here, the structure is very different

re4make relies mostly on open combat arenas or tightly knit combat scenarios (cabin fight, water hall, etc) but re9 is more like re8

so while overall combat in re4make is still better (opinion might change on a replay) I like the moment to moment leon combat in re9 because of how fucking nuts it is
