Far cry 5 has a more interesting story despite having a mute protagonist. In some cases i think the game is better for it.

A far cry protagonist as we know them just wouldn't really fit in the context of 5's story imo. It's much darker and trying to pose philosophical, religious, and political questions and someone like Jason, Ajay, or especially Dani just wouldn't fit that narrative
