The only thing I voted spiderman 2 for was best performance from Yuri lowenthall. I don't think the game itself deserved any awards

Marvel's spiderman is in my top 5 games of all time. Spiderman 2 was very disappointing in a lot of ways, most things I can look past but there's just too much wrong with it. Im glad it won nothing because hopefully it shows insomniac and Sony that you can't release games in that state and hopefully this will go a ways in stopping the Sony circlejerk for a while

It makes sense usually because Sony usually publishes very polished and very well made games. When you get something like days gone or spiderman 2 you have to be sure that they realize it's unacceptable to not meet their own standard of quality

In terms of the other games, I didn't play Alan wake but I heard it's very good. Resident evil 4 was amazing but I don't believe in remakes or remasters winning GOTY. I always thought it was going to come down to totk and bg3, but I voted bg3 knowing it would win due to the fact that more people played it, and there was a lot more hype online surrounding it that lasted longer. plus, I haven't played totk before but very much seems like a 70 dollar expansion

Anyone saying rigged or robbed is probably just part of that Sony or Nintendo circle jerk. Unless I see actual proof that it was rigged or that there was a game with more influence this year than baldurs gate 3. Hard sell, I think baldurs gate 3 is one of the most influential games of the last decade.
