I've been a day one GTAO player and I do love it. Personally the updates just got stale to me right around the diamond casino heist.

Always loved RDO because despite it's lack of content it's just so damn immersive and the content it does have is still pretty fun. If you play it more like a wild West sim and kinda roleplay the bounties, moonshine stuff, trader, or just the open world stuff like hunting or exploring it can be very fun. Used to roleplay in it with friends too

I mean you can roleplay GTA online like an MMO as well but it's much more restricting in what you can do without tons of loading screens and shit that breaks your immersion. Well aside from 3rd party mods like fivem of course

I think the roleplay community should definitely be rockstar target demographic for their online modes. Those are the people who will stick to the experience consistently I believe
