theres a SLIGHT difference when you goto 120hz but its definitely not obvious. for me the most obvious change is strobing effect with rapid movement
usually you can only see this when in a vehicle and looking out the side window, or waving your controller in front of your face
but once you hit 144hz, theres a very noticible difference between that and 90hz
at that point, there are so many frames that it creates its own natural motion blur
not sure if its because of how your eyeballs work or its just the nature of the display itself

you can also use that to launch yourself all over the place with any weapon lol
if you time a two handed weapon swing with a jump you can use your attack to jump over enemies
