and has proper bounce lighting applied

to me that might as well be an entire generation apart

finally, no more objects seemingly floating above surfaces!

also the shadows themselves are properly colored

with that incredibly realistic soft look. if you tried to do that with shadow maps like other games use, there still wouldnt be a comparison

just look at the differences in just the bowl

and thats the highest raytracing setting you could have prior to the overdrive patch

hell in the pair of images with the mattress on the floor, you can see more details in the rug on the bottom left of the images just becuase of the RTX overdrive

without it, it just appears unnaturally flat
