the first time i really realized this i was messing around in CSGO private matches and there's a command you can use to make bots mimic your actions exactly, if you gave the bot an AK 47 and took an M4 and started shooting you'd die every time so i always go back to that analogy because imo it reflects the state of meta games

i feel like with CSGO its an exception and justified because to go back to that analogy the AK47 / M4 both have their opposites and downsides (AK has more recoil, harder to control spray) which means its still a balanced game, when you have a game with guns that are better than everything else even at what they're good at (an SMG that's a laser and can outsnipe snipers and the sort) that's a problem
