AC Syndicate was a copy paste game
While yes, it does have many similarities to unity, it improves on almost every aspect. The stealth system is easily the best in the series, the black box missions are incredibly cinematic to the point where they feel like hitman missions, the combat is fully functional for once (rare in most ac games), and the parkour is just unity’s parkour but with no dedicated jump button in return for less buggy transitions
The grappling hook mechanic makes the parkour a bit unnecessary, but it feels nice and I quite enjoyed combining the two systems for more freedom
