Story- 4/10 some good moments, but all spoiled in the trailers
Characters- 8/10 Kerry was so memorable, I loved Rogue, River, and Judy.
Price- 4/10 get on sale
Choices- 3/10 so miserably sad half reminds me of DL2's choices
Customization- 7-8/10 transmog was a good feature, without it it's all bland looking trash.

Overall- 6/10 buy on sale, watch no trailers or videos on it, and have no expectations.

And to say that everything was spoiled by the trailers is just inaccurate if you played the game longer than act 1. Actually the marketing was kinda brilliant (though if you know what actually happened it was all a complete accident) but basically they built up most of the marketing to be a kinda like an action adventure with Jackie as a companion through the whole game. Then they drop a Jackie death scene and a Keanu Reeves casting reveal and everyone was dumbfounded. We had no idea what the plot was at that point

I had been following the game since the e3 trailer in 2018

Every trailer from e3 2018 to launch I watched

And then played the game

I felt, while playing act 1, that the trailers may have shown too much

I tried not to get too attached to Jackie, I knew dex was likely setting us up, I knew that takemura isn't necessarily a bad guy

But then everything after act 1 was the total unknown

We barely knew much about Panama or Judy, hell most of the side characters and side quests which ended up being the most enjoyable content

Not too mention the main missions

There was very little in acts 2 and 3 that we saw in trailers

I didn't, don't, never have, and never will regret pre ordering cyberpunk 2077. It's one of the greatest games I've ever played

it's up to you to spend your money wisely, to use the price of a game as a direct criticism is just silly. The game offers just as much (and much more than some) content as any other game it's price

If you did not do your research and find out that it's content you aren't likely to enjoy, that's totally YOUR fault

I remember when the game came out. Many people who didn't know much about cdpr or cyberpunk hopped on the hype train thinking it was gonna be a first person GTA game. Or saints row, just cause, you name it.

But this game isn't an open world sandbox. It's a role playing game set in a very dark world

So in the case of many people, (even my own dad) bought this game thinking that it would be similar to GTA

This feeling like they wasted their money. They can feel that way, or they can feel like cdpr scammed them but at the end of the day if they'd done research on what they were buying they would have known what it was

And that's basically all I have to say. I'm not gonna make an argument against gunplay or the story being bad as that's just as subjective as it gets.

If you don't like fps gunplay, obviously you won't like it. If you don't like grim stories, you probably won't like it.

These things are about as subjective as it gets, and I respect your opinion on them

||yeah they were just doing it to fuck with him, the main thing it symbolizes is the buildup they've had for them being 2 fucked up devils made for each other, they just wanna screw with people and that's completely fine but with howard i thought they fucked it at the end, the lalo from before that episode would have no reason to kill howard, he'd show him the door elegantly and go about his business, that whole section just felt like they wanted to take the show from 0 to 100, lalo already knows they know who he is so killing howard did nothing in terms of having them do what he asked, he could've literally just drove them to gus' house, told kim to say what he wanted and he'd be able to go about his plan without mike ever finding out about what happened like he did when he left saul back home tied up, as far as how lalo died it didn't make sense to me because even tho it was in the dark you're still shooting a gun, and lalo had shot like 3 bullets before gus got to his gun so he'd know where he's standing, the fact that gus was able to pick up the gun, aim at him, empty out his clip and kill him to me was just weird, it's also anti climactic to me, i know they set it up with gus plugging in the lights cord earlier which is commendable for even making that setup but it still just felt like they could do better with it, BCS usually has that surprise type of writing where its something that's so insane you don't expect it but its good, this one just wasn't it for me, i'd even go as far as to say it ruined the show cuz the vibe is just weird||
