But I love cheating for progression in gta online because over the years they've made it increasingly difficult with every update to the point it's become blatantly pay2win and every update they've added a more ridiculous way to destroy someone's progression that has been incredibly time consuming, which they are forced to do in public lobbies where all the danger is present, and now the game is so full to the brim with overpowered vehicles, weapons and gadgets that make trying to earn money 10x harder than destroying someone's entire paycheck. If you don't want to spend thousands of hours grinding something that relies on money investment itself + OTHER (FRIENDLY) PLAYERS, you have to either purchase microtransactions (which there conveniently are tons of btw!) that cost literally more than the game itself, or mod money so you can get everything and get to the level of everyone around you who basically just modded their stuff.
And with how expensive everything is and how sparse money is it's not worth getting anything fun with it because you'll just lose the potential to make more, which is an infinite cycle of false hope that'll keep people playing thinking they'll get there some day when in reality spending time for garbage like gtao is a waste and you should just take the easy way to have fun within the same timespan it took back in the day.
On top of all this they've methodically removed specific parts of the game that gave you a chance as a poor player against a rich one, basically killing the skill requirement whatsoever. These have been actual game features. And their biggest focus in patches apart from that has been glitches that allowed you to do this too, or to make money faster than you're allowed to without investment.
This is why I say they "removed the fun and ruined it" and that rockstar can go to hell.
