@earnest shale got 🎁 Present!
Imma head out before Z2K1 sees dis shi
context?
I'm not gonna get into the game again
actually let me just scroll up
you should
Chat died cus Callisto
Lol
Let's go back to goated games
I have yet to beat it
Stuck on the fucking white head monster in the church building
I'll have a final judgement of the game once I'm finished with it
I wanted to buy tlou 2 but missed it cause no money
For now it's not worth my money though
Tekken Tag Tournament 1 / GOW (2018), can also be ragnarok i just haven't finished it yet
Prince of Persia : Two Thrones / RDR2
Dragon Ball Z : Infinite World / Arkham Knight
Crash Bandicoot 3 : Warped / RE2 Remake
Max Payne 1 / The Order 1886
legit i couldnt not include the other half
wow that's plenty of favourite videogames
this is why i always say the best games of all time argument doesnt work
That's like a top 10
like i love my #1 for the last gen the same way i loved my previous #1 in the one before it
xqc streamed for 26 hours to finish GOWR in one sitting
so like it just doesnt work, you can't compare 2 goats since that was your max
And he rushed the main story
wow
its not that long
Holy shit, 26 hours for just the story
i thought it would be longer
I’m in for a long weekend when I get the game
@charred gust
Still loving Callisto?
god not again
@earnest shale got 🎁 Present!
We can’t get away from it
@jagged lava got 🎁 Present!
if i ever feel its mid i'll be sure to point it out
Y'all needa shut up lmao. I asked a simple fucking question
My goated list is different to my list of "games I would choose to play if I was stuck on an island with nothing else to do"
THE BEST MAIN CHARACTERS
idek if i have a favourite game list
I miss Sly Cooper :<
i just like games or don't like games
Which are:
- Civ 5
- Fallout New Vegas
- Fallout 4
- Skyrim
- TWD Saints & Sinners
oh right
In games right?
Idek
yeah
aight
this is othergames
Joel better be on this list
best mc is clearly red crewmate from among sus
Hmm
I would say someone like DOOM guy but he's not really a character
So I'll make my list based on characters
Master chief would be like the Doom guy equivalent who is actually like a character
that was quicker than before
I like Ethan winters too much and idk why
yeah with characters they're more obvious to me atleast tbh
He seems, strange but interesting
ethan winters is pretty bad imo
I think you're doing Leon dirty with fifth place.
and you'll notice i didnt include characters from those fav games, in order to be in this list for me it needs more influence, much more regardless of the game itself
just because he cannot convey emotion to save his life
True but like, he kinda moldy
Man can survive anything
i lowkey think 5th place is still honorable, cuz like these are characters we're talking about
and resident evil isn't exactly the most well written series out there
i also didnt wanna put in the meme characters like doom slayer, mario, or someone from a fighting game character
it's just iconic
Mine is:
-Nathan Drake
-Arthur Morgan
- Delsin Rowe
- Jin Sakai
- idk
I'd have Jole and Ellie in my list for sure. TLOU1&2 are fantastic
jin Sakai is a good one
did you just say delsin rowe ?
I'd put him higher i think
AND JIN SAKAI ?
yeah
Delsin Row is a name I haven’t heard in a while

gimme that hand
i cant find the emoji
Lol
can't think of many other well written godo characters tbh
kratos is good true
True, but I didn't know that my first playthrough.
COME ON KIPPIE
I just used whatever I had.
With what?
i considered him in mine but when i put him next to arthur i feel like i could relate more to being a bandit who felt remorse than a greek general who killed gods
too bad

- Isaac Clarke
- Arbiter (Thel 'Vadamee)
- Kratos
- Simon (from Cry of Fear)
- Emily Kaldwin / Corvo Attano
Omg dishonored
Corvo
I need to play that game again
dishonored 🐐
If it wasn't the second game, I wouldn't have them on the list
oh yeah that's a good list
@leaden orchid
Yes. Yes yes. Thel is a beautiful bastard
everytime I can't think of good characters they come up
But we get a lot more expression of character from both of them there
I felt very disappointed with deathloop
me too
Thel is bae
He's a shoe for the player to fill
True
Thel on the other hand is a proper character
I would have added doom slayer but
i don't think silent/rarely speaking characters should be on a best characters list
that
Doom slayer is another example of a shallow character
unless they're like insanely well written for some reason
isaac is good
Because we get a lot of a personal connection with him and the story and how it affects him
The way he interacts with everything speaks for him
^^
he does speak for a decent amount of time in the sequels tho
and the story connects with him very well
When he turns to the right at the end of DS2, only to see Ellie instead was a fantastic piece of development. His nightmares have finally ended
Because he metaphorically fights his dead wife during the endgame sequence
the ending was cool
they showed she was actually in human form and didnt yell
The ambience in Ds1 was literally just his medical record
basically accepting him this time around and what he's accomplished
"I trusted you, you lied to me, fuck you!"
he said enough
@earnest shale got 🎁 Present!
"Longing for his girlfriend has made him extremely sad and isolated" or something like that
It did two things:
- Call back to the first game's ending.
- Wrap up the personal struggle and journey he had with the Marker personifying his grief of his dead wife.
-Ezio
-Crane
-Sly Cooper
-Connor Kenway
-Ellie (TLOU1&2)
@stark oyster got 🎁 Present!
Finally found my list :/
I would Replace connor for Edward
he redeemed himself ffrom his mistakes
@stark oyster got 🎁 Present!
sly cooper ?
I barely played any AC games
Lol
Sly cooper was the first actual video game I ever played as a kid
Well, the second sly cooper game that is
mine was Star Wars The Force Unleashed
you forgot nero and dante
Vergil is one of my favorite characters yes, but not the only one.
My first “video game” was reader rabbit on the wii when I was 5
mf's list would be vergil nero dante trish and lady
gloria then
Both mid characters

probably nico
Nope
Ah man how could I forget Ezio
Also no
The bread and butter of AC storytelling
fr
mf about to say sparda
Tf
The ezio trilogy are probably the best AC games out there, brotherhood was my favorite of the 3
brotherhood is my favourite AC
How about
My personality isn't just DMC bro
@upbeat whale got 🎁 Present!
no way
you show yourself like it is
List of ANTAGONISTS
They have to be the opposition / enemy / boss / counter to the MC of a game.

hol up i need to pause again
this one's good
this is a good one
let me think
Oh god Idek
@upbeat whale got 🎁 Present!
@upbeat whale lurker
@upbeat whale got 🎁 Present!
bugged present
Bugged event
Best thing ever
Mmesek engineering
@stark oyster got 🎁 Present!
- Rodrigo Borgia
- Cesare Borgia
- Micah Bell
- Rafe Adler
- idk
Cant think at the moment

ok ngl I only recognise the first two, had to look up the others
I included both borgias cause I just hate them for what they have done to Ezio
@upbeat whale got 🎁 Present!
you should play Uncharted 4, its on pc
Minecraft creeper is a pretty good antagonist ngl
- Zeus
- Joseph
- The Crooked Man / Bloody Mary (The Wolf Among Us)
- Brian Cox (Manhunt 1)
- Wesker
i agree
I remember when caco was your personality
Joseph seed?
Micah bell
Vaas' Montenegro
Ludwig, the holy blade which is technically just a boss fight but I count him because of his lore
General Shepherd
I have a 5th I just can't think rn
yeah
U guys already do protagonist
yeah
I was gonna put Makarov instead of Shephard, but tbh I actually completely understand Shephard's motivations way more than Makarov
Makarov is just ha ha war and kill
@earnest shale got 🎁 Present!
I just remembered
Me when waltz says the name of the game in the dialogue
Wesker probably has the most swagger an antagonist could have
While also having the brains and brawn to match it
peak gaming scene
Mhm

trying to do any damage to him in his boss fight and him just dodging is just like

This deeply upsets me
like bitch stop let me hit you
I mean there's what 2016 and Eternal tried to do, but I wouldn't realy count that much has been done
He is an ultra gigachad badass
But as a character? I'm not so sure
also joseph could've honestly been my #1 easily
i hated how he's in the wrong but he always gets his way
he's both wrong and right at the same time ‼️
I would probably put Vaas as my no1 villain for Far Cry
I like Pagan Min a lot
i honestly actually like vaas, like he was insane and all but atleast he was legit and true to himself, which is why i dont hate him
What about the books and all the other deep lore that's been drip fed over 25 years
Very charismatic
same with pagan min, i liked him
13 minute lunch
Doomguy has very simple motivations but very deep lore
Again, not much really other than the journey he's been through
KILL HIM WITH A PEN
john wick style
ice cold
@stark oyster got 🎁 Present!
The lore is deep, just not DOOM guy
john wick killed with a pencil
His poor rabbit...
not a pen
Daisy...

Yeah it was Jason Bourne who killed with a pen

all the demons had to do was not kill the funny flower name rabbit
goated trilogy
I wouldn't put him in my top 5 but I'm just saying he's definitely a character. There's a lot of stuff you can learn about him by reading the books and also just following along with the story
I wont count the fourth
What books are there?
I've only watched lore videos and saw the comic
yeah like
DOOM guy has some personality
his name is
The infamous "you have huge guts" lmfao
DOOM the sixth, when?
top 5 game endings with no spoilers
There's a book series. They aren't that great but they contextualize the world and doomguy
arr dee arr too

.mmmmm
They are kinda in an alt universe I think but that doesn't matter in the DOOM franchise
(I'm tasting some food dont mind me)
Basically everything in DOOM takes place on separate timelines but loosely connect
- Halo Reach
- Cry of Fear
- GOW Ragnarok
- Dead Space 2
- Halo 3
It's one story but it's not one straight line of narrative but more like multiple timelines that stack to create the story
I answered with no spoilers
justttttt in case
everyone dies real
(i have never seen more then 10 minutes of god of war)
(I have been playing god of war games since i was 5 years old)
GOW:R spoiler: Kratos
NOOOOOOOOOOOO
In no particular order but
RDR2
AC origins
Bloodborne
Nier Automata
Ghost of Tsushima
And I know you said 5 but I gotta add cyberpunk because you know I'm a shill
||kratos says boy||
alright
gimme that hand
@charred gust I have now joined you on the journey of Maximum security.
-Spiderman 2018
-Dark souls 3 (bad ending)
-Detroit become human (best ending)
- Uncharted 3
-Ghost of Tsushima (both endings)
@earnest shale got 🎁 Present!
bloodborne's ending being leaving the UK ?
Kinda
peak ending
@earnest shale got 🎁 Present!
i could legit imagine that, theres a sign that just has "the entirety of the UK 100% legit" and your character walks past it holding their weapon up on one arm

There's 3 endings. In themselves they are nothing special I suppose but the context around why they happen the way they do is just fantastically done
make it come out in 2007 too
I'll repeat it cause no one paid me attention
Ok new list
-Spiderman 2018
-Dark souls 3 (bad ending)
-Detroit become human (best ending)
- Uncharted 3
-Ghost of Tsushima (both endings)
Oooh endings
Best video game SOUNDTRACKS. And no, not ONE TRACK, I mean judging an ENTIRE OST.
It's what really upsets me - yaknow, when people say the souls games have no stories. Just because you didnt pay attention doesn't mean there was no story
mgr

DMC
easily, uncharted 2
cool OSTs
Skyrim hits me with some nostalgia
@stark oyster got 🎁 Present!
dark souls has some of the deepest lore I've ever seen (it is the reason why I haven't watched any lore on it yet)
truth
It's good
i mean shit ezio's family became the ass in the creed theme

What does that even mean 💀
all the main menu songs are new iterations of ezio's family
Ezio's family track has been in every ac ost since ac 2
Alr
which is fine
thank you lauti
Ezio's Family is on my Spotify rn actually
@earnest shale got 🎁 Present!
For me:
- Halo (All of them lol)
- DOOM (modern)
- MGR
- Skyrim
- Ultrakill
- Dark Souls 3
Yes I have 6 cus I couldn't NOT include any of these.
after giving it a thought, my best endings are the ones that left me looking at the credits roll thinking about wtf just happened
and then still thinking about them years later
- RDR1
- GOW (2018)
- LA Noire
- Spec Ops The Line
- Arkham City
Undertale
Metal Gear Rising Revengeance
DOOM & DOOM ETERNAL
COD Zombies (not one particularly game but I think it's fair to group the zombies songs as a single OST)
Never played it but Persona 5 has a goated OST
DMC5
HADES
never had that
yeah probably
Honorable mentions: every souls game
Fair with COD Zombies
ultrakill slaps
dark souls 3 as well
The COD zombies music is always too damn loud
What do you think of the Elden Ring OST, I feel like it's underwhelming compared to what we've had in the past, but there are still some good tracks here and there
BEAUTY OF ANNIHILATION
read that message as i was thinking about it
ooooOOOOooooo
I haven't sat down and listened to the whole thing like I have the others which I suppose in itself is a bad sign. I guess it really wasn't that memorable apart from the menu theme and godskin duo. Damn. But maybe I just forgot, that game was massive and a huge sensory overload
that kid got his balls cut so we could.listen to that banger ost
I should really listen to the whole ost
@upbeat whale got 🎁 Present!
Lucas be stealing presents but never contributing smh
What's your favorite track from each souls game atleast that you've played

Well I've only played DS3 and ER but I have tracks from other games
Alright, cya when a less complicated event comes out
Lord of Cinder's track is just too good
- Literally any Tekken game that wasn't mid, especially the tag games
- Any GOW game
- Old NFS Games, specifically underground 1 / 2
- Street Racing Syndicate, this one's OST just went so fucking hard
- GTA games but specifically for me san andreas and 5
i mean listen to this goodness
i'd sit in the character select till the timer runs out
Mine are
DS1: Great Grey Wolf Sif
DS2: Majula's theme
DS3: Dragonslayers Armour
Bloodborne: Ludwig, The Holy Blade
Elden Ring: The main menu 😎
I don't have an answer for demons souls or Sekiro... Yet
lowkey still the best character select theme in any fighting game ive heard in my life
ludwig is almost your bf watch out
Demons Souls: Maiden Astrea theme
Dark Souls 1: Either Gwyn or Sif theme
Dark Souls 3: This one is really tough because there's like 6+ that I love, but I would say funnily enough the main menu, it just encapsulates the game very nicely.
Bloodborne: LUDWIG THE HOLY BLADE SLAPS SO HARD IT SHOULDN'T EXIST.
Elden Ring: Probably the main theme.

y'all know what time it is
Please tell me you've heard this cover

Sekiro's OST is a banger
Yes
time for some actual good nfs music from the golden age of nfs
Wtf I saw this like a few days after it was published
@earnest shale got 🎁 Present!
I DO NOT OWN ANY OF THIS SONG! I DO NOT GET ANY MONEY WITH THIS UPLOAD! ALL RIGHTS GOES TO THEIR RIGHTFUL OWNERS!

Snoop Dogg Feat. The Doors - Riders On The Storm (Fredwreck Remix) (Need For Speed Underground 2 OST) [HQ]
Check the full setlist of this game:
FREELAND - "Mind Killer (Jagz Koo...
am i the only one who thinks NFS soundtarcks are getting midder every game
Nice, I should listen to a lot of the older racing OSTs, I just never played those games since they're not my taste
like 2015 was the last good one and it only had like 1 good song lmfao
This slaps so hard!
Dragonslayer amour's complete battle theme.
Composer: Yuka Kitamura
Ok so we've had everyone answer best soundtracks
How about top 5 of best INDIVIDUAL TRACKS.
Has to be from a game ofc, but you cannot include more than 1 from a single game. Multiple in a franchise is allowed
Abyss Watchers' track solos
this is a good one
Ezios family
Halo theme
Ludwig, the holy blade
Devil trigger
BFG Division
this one's tough
- The King and The Bull (Hades)
- Owl - Father (Sekiro)
- Last Parkour (dl2)
- Bloodborne's Main theme
- Ezio's Family (AC Origins version)
Speaking of a origins
My favorite track from that game isn't on the official tracklist

Actually:
- The Warthog Run (Halo 3)
- Ezio's Family (AC2)
- Ludwig, The Holy Blade (Bloodborne)
- The Only Thing They Fear Is You (DOOM Eternal)
- Bury The Light (Devil May Cry 5)
I've been quite busy. This is just one of two tracks I'm uploading as a 'demo' for Assassin's Creed: Origins. I will do a whole playlist, in time, but it's going to take a lot of work. A lot more work than I'm used to for this, to be honest, but I'm determined to get it done. All I ask is for a little patience.
Composed by Sarah Schachner.
Shout-out to house building theme
As an honorable mention
the doom eternal one is awesome
I was conflicted between that and BFG Division
I used to listen to it on quarantine while doing homework
The only thing they fear is you is my alarm clock
I even made a cringe DL1 Hellraid edit with that song
lmao
- Tekken 7's Arctic Snowfall for Round 1
- Devil Trigger from DMC5
- Ezios family (AC Rogue Version)
- Max Payne 1's Theme
- COD : Cold War MP Lobby Theme
- BF4 Main Theme
I was torn between the only thing they fear is you, BFG division, meathook, rip and tear, at dooms gate, and rust, dust, and guts
Btw can I just say dooms soundtracks have amazing names
DMC3's battle theme was also goated
I never really noticed
Oh and The HITMAN Trilogy's main menu theme is also goated
Zombies theme is also goated
Black Ops 2's Adrenaline too
I forgor Breath of The City
That's my favorite
the way those synth / techno waves flow through
There's tons of fantastic tracks in COD as a franchise
also that theme that plays in arkham city when you're on the rooftops
DL1's main theme is great too
AC ROGUE EZIOS FAMILY THATS SO GOATED U VALID FOR THAT
and just free roaming around
IT HAS THE THEME OF AC3 AND AC4 IN IT
come here
U VALID
That's my favorite ezio family mix I just forgor
a longer one lmao
I want to know where this is from
its a goated remix legit
Because the animation looks really good lol
how his eyes move are just too funny to look at
I love that it has the themes of AC3 and 4. It sings the song of the colonial brotherhood, this is ezios family but shay was betrayed by them
When I think about the ac rogue theme I convince myself that the story for that game is good
My favorite parts of rogue are the haytham segments
Like I always wanted more haytham
have you read the book?
AC Forsaken?
No
It tells you more about Haytham's childhood
and how edward died

its the best remix imo, it has the classic hymn but it sings AC3 / 4 like you said through those sounds they added, the flute or whatever represents the ships and the epic battles on them
rogue will forever be my dark horse in the AC franchise
Origins has a good ezios family mix too, and Odysseys is okay when it's not blasting my fucking eardrums out
Neither as good as rogue
the leadup in origins' is goated
also that du du du that sarah schachner added
Yes
it plays throughout the game when you're in the inventory or in the main menu, that du du du is goated
like you know its coming and you're waiting for it
I love how haunting origins OST is for no reason
The OST is weirdly hopeless
I guess that's kind of the games theme up until the end
i love that dark theme around it, it fits it so well
Bayek loses his son, by the end he loses his wife. But he has a future to look forward too with the brotherhood
I guess I forgot how dark that game was at some point
thats literally how i saw ubisoft, they're actually bayek
Like the arc with shadya? Was her name
like legit thats them, their shot at redemption
but sadly the community wont let them
or atleast wouldnt let them
I think origins is the best game in the series. Not because it's perfect or even does everything good. But everything is done fine
There's no assassin's Creed game that I can confidently say there's nothing I dislike about than origins
Good world, good combat, serviceable parkour, very compelling story
AC3 being my actual favorite ac game is still buggy as fuck even in the remaster and the ezio trilogy I cherish very much but they didn't age well and unity has the best parkour and fine combat but it's janky and the game itself is still kinda fucked
Origins has the benefit of being a done and working video game
the parkour was so goated its insane, when i recently played unity again it made me appreciate origins' even more because they didn't even have a sprint button in the game and they still managed to keep it flowing really well
unity had those goated animations for when you're traversing around directions, doing a turn while you're falling but origins was nerve relaxingly smooth
climbing the pyramids
Plus weirdly origins was the only ac game to get tears out of me
Seeing the way the Creed was formed in that beach
That was so emotional for me as a long time fan
also the sound design in origins might be my fav out of any game, idk what it is whether they used some insane high budget mic filter or some dr dre level mixing but i swear everytime i put on headphones and listen to that game's audio it makes me so relaxed, hearing bayek's footsteps as he climbs, drops, jumps is just on a league of its own compared to any other game ive ever played
It's a little corny with him dropping the skull in the sand but the context and emotional weight of the scene makes it worse, not too mention the fucking acting
Bayek and aya actually have really great chemistry, watching them split apart for the greater good is just so hard
AC3 lowkey apart from connor being a dumb brute is high up on my list
for me it wasnt connor that made it, could've been replaced by anyone else, the theme, the events and the characters made it
He's brash
like for 2012 it blew my mind
I love connor
@upbeat whale got 🎁 Present!
the way they make you see haytham as this rough individual but he still cared enough about his wife somewhat and he just couldn't get himself to kill his son
I love that they chose a native American to tell their story about the American revolution
The way he fights for freedom despite knowing it doesn't apply to him
The colonists screw him over every step of the way
But he understands the weight of his situation
He realizes it's better to fight for what he believes is the greater good than to not fight at all
If he can destroy the templars the rest is unimportant
he's the ultimate underdog which is why it's such a goated game, the assassins are no longer the side you'd bet on, achilles' brotherhood is done and you feel like you're the only one fighting for that side
And the best part of that game for me is Connors ambiguity
i legit think AC3 - 4 - Rogue and Unity are the best period of AC for me personally
the events that went down in that time period between Shay's upbringing and Arno becoming a master assassin are just insane
im glad they released 3 before rogue tbh
I agree
cuz achilles is just a bitch after you play rogue
3 is my favorite ac game, and one of my favorite games of all time
like he's no longer that savant wise guy that he was in 3, he's a clueless power maniac who strayed far from ezio's legacy
I think a lot of people don't see Connor the way I do. I don't think it's pretentious to say I think I understand Connor more than others, not to say ive experienced anything close to his struggles but I can relate to the way he views the world and specifically america
He doesn't personally believe in what people like Washington stand for, but he's willing to sacrifice everything to fight on behalf of America's ideals because at the end of the day they are better than the adversarys
its why i always say AC is so goated, it shows you that eventually there's no right side, everyone goes corrupt, bayek was good, al mualim came in and abused his legacy for his own benefit and wealth, altair brought back the brotherhood and cured it, ezio followed in his footsteps, achilles fucked it up, then afterwards it seemed to have gotten back to what it should've been, but in the real world during our time it's the templars once again who have the upper hand and are bigger, so much bigger that you only had desmond and his crew / layla who actually represented the good guys
Connor is confused, he doesn't know right from wrong. Yet his motivations are simple and his arc and conclusion are ambiguous. I really like that about him
i think what flies over most people's heads about AC is even tho its all exaggerated, the future can potentially have abstergos especially considering you have the church of scientology that still exists today
like say 500 years from now it becomes a reality through neurotology breakthroughs, you really think there won't be an organization that tries to abuse that to rewrite history or reshape it for its own benefits ?
Shay is a good example too. He's defined by the fact that he's a brotherhood defector, that's the narrative. Yet, in context it's just deeper. Everyone who played understands why he did what he did, whether or not you agree. His character is also very ambiguous, you get to draw your own conclusions about his motives. He's not a super deep character, but you don't have to be deep when so much lies on the surface.
We already have organizations trying to rewrite history so people that believe that it wouldn't happen on that scale are delusional
shay is the perfect example why humans will always fight wars
the entire situation could've been avoided if achilles wasn't such a delusional dumbass, and if his fellow puppets weren't puppets
I love Achilles is arc too
like legit none of them had to die at all, but no they had to follow orders blatantly
Achilles is actually a really great character
i legit hate him, if i had to pick one AC antagonist it would be him
I love how as a dying man he lives alone, he refuses to train Connor because of how he already failed the Creed. with shay and the rest of the colonial brotherhood
Eventually he does train Connor, and through that action he actually does gain his redemption. He dies as a very noble character
for starters he shit on ezio's legacy and took the brotherhood back to al mualim's age, moreso he single handedly destroyed it, i mean he sent off an entire generation of assassins just to get killed by shay to delay his arrival to that final site in the snow to find out what shay told him months before
he's just dumb
He knows how many lives he took, destroyed, ruined, etc. I'm so glad AC3 came first because he just appears to be a stubborn old man but rogue adds so much subtext
i personally didn't think it was enough to redeem him, he was already useless so if he had refused to train connor all along he would've been ted from breaking bad level of trash, i liked him in 3 but as soon as i found out who he was before it's just like, wow
altair didn't lose a finger and kill his mentor for this
its just annoying because of the consequences it had, i mean the entire reason why abstergo are who rule the world and are winning the fight ultimately is because of him
Yeah but he trained Connor which led to the colonial templars being completely disbanded and america gaining it's freedom
imagine if the assassins had shay on their side and not on the opposite ?
connor is literally a god in ac3
Connor won every major battle basically by himself
he's just built different
It's why when people scale ac characters and say ezio beats Connor I roll my eyes
Like this man literally won a war basically singlehandedly
He commanded the troops, he fought in the front lines of every major battle in the revolution
He's literally unfairly scaled
He's ungodly powerful
he doesnt beat him in terms of strength but if its a 1v1 assassination contest then yeah i could see that
connor is literally a war general, i remember those promo trailers they had for the game
he was running head first into battle just murdering mfs
i feel like if ezio had to fight for his life he'd use his broader experience with the pieces of eden to pull some BS on him
(im assuming it isnt that type of BS villains always do where they flex their OP skills then let you kill them)
Connor survived getting impaled by a sharpened log of fucking timber in the burning ship while chasing Lee and still was able to keep going until he caught up to him later and killed him
like yeah look at this sword i have that can cut through walls and any matter, i'm just gonna hold it here and strike once at a time near you
so you can dodge it progressively and come kill me
If they fought and ezio had any piece of Eden then yeah
Lee was such an L
Cause they are literally supernatural powers
But just a 1v1 of their basic kit and skills
to see him as a sucker for haytham, literally his mailboy
then try to talk down connor years later
Even in a stealth seeking 1v1 Conor still wins because he has more tools
i hate those types of characters, the type that gets into it as a bitch then tries to pull rank later on
Connor could hang ezio by a tree with rope darts
i legit never saw a point in these types of comparisons because at the end of the day if they were to actually happen they'd always end in a cliffhanger
the writers never wanna upset anyone
I don't care for them either but it's funny just too point out how op Connor is
its like when they scaled akuma and ryu to asura's level in street fighter 4
like bro i'm sorry but neither akuma or ryu have fought a fucking god of gods
It's like when people try to pit most characters against doom Slayer like there an argument there
or beaten a literal planet sized monster
When doom Slayer is an actual demigod
He's borderline invincible at this point in the story
He was made into a god
The praetor suit is bullet proof, explosive proof, you name it and it probably won't be damaged by it
Not too mention his arsenal and abilities
theres only one game that i would put on the same level as the original god of war games in terms of how goated the boss fight animations and transitions were, and that has to be asuras wrath
I reckon I should keep uploading these awesome fights for Asura's Wrath since you guys seem to enjoy watching them just as much as I do playing it ^_^
Please don't forget to hit that subscribe button, it will help me out so much if you could help me out :)
Outro Music - Ahrix: Nova
8:44, this mf who's 10 times the size of the earth puts his finger on top of it
and asura just punches the shit out of it
He's an export in all manner of guns, he's great in hand to hand due to his supernatural strength, he's got a fucking laser sword, and he's very mobile
Sorry master chief
Never stood a chance
AYO NO WAY
I JUST REALIZED ITS BACKWARDS COMPAT

we legit need a sequel
or atleast another game from the same studio
the ideas they had for that game were just borderline insane
the fact that IGN gave it a 7.5 to me is a testament to how their takes dont matter
one of the best boss designs of any game ever
IGN praised nier Automata for being a masterpiece for like 10 minutes and somehow landed on a score of 8.9
IGN are the L take guys for me tbh
They spend a whole review building up a 10/10 just to arbitrarily give it a . Score
if IGN says its good its probably okay
Like 8.9???
if they say its bad its good
Well
I finished nier automata and went back to watch reviews back when it released
I just encountered a glitch in Callisto
I vaulted a wall and got stuck halfway in the floor on the other side
And they are all positive, but these reviewers talk about a perfect experience, a true masterpiece of a game. To give the game an 8 or 9
gg w
wp
Why are they scared to give out 10's
That is literally the first bad thing I've encountered so far
gotta keep the 10's for the studios that pay up
fr
they've been proven so many times to take paid reviews
like they used to make it so blatant when they give games no one liked 8's and 9's
Yeah and the creators of Nier would never pay someone to talk good about their game
now they're kinda more smart about it
The director of Nier, Yoko Taro has said some of the most insightful shit I've ever heard about game development
Due to Public Relations and $$$ http://www.zeldainformer.com/news/comments/former-ign-employee-admits-review-scores-are-skewed-due-to-public-relations This is one of those things that we always knew but it's kind of depressing to have suspicions confirmed.
i know i'd get fired within my first month if i was working there lmfao
lowkey when you see shit like pokemon s&v selling 10 mil its like whats even the point
my theory has always been with them you have employees who don't wanna lose their jobs like that guy by giving a game a 6
so they have like a minimum they'll give
like they won't go lower than a 7 regardless of how the game could be
then the games they see everyone loves they'll go up to an 8 or a 9
@quasi prairie got 🎁 Present!
and if they see every other major reviewer giving a 10 they won't break the chain
Bloodborne PC 2023 real
nou
Cyberpunk 2077 update looking nice tho ngl
I'll circumcise my boyfriend if Ragnarok comes to PC before bloodborne

Dawg what💀
bruh
Nah but cyberpunk getting cool updates soon
ive been going through playlists upon playlists trying to find some good new progressive house songs
no luck
I recommend phonk
its like mfs cant make good new songs anymore
Try expanding your genre
i have so many times legit
"modern" rap, any type of EDM, even kpop
For one he's got this interesting belief that game developers shouldnt have the right to critique or analyze their own game
He refuses to do interviews because of this. He doesn't feel like it's his right to commentate on his own work. He makes the games he wants to make, and he writes the stories he wants to write and gives them to the world but he doesn't feel like he deserves a right to commentate on them with any level of certainty because his critical view isn't better than anyone else's.
He thinks it's pretentious for game developers to take an interview on commentate about their own game. To talk about the work they put into it and how they want it to be perceived. Game devs don't dictate perception of their games yoko taro believes.
Another is the way he views games themselves. He views them as an art form and hes talked in the past about the "invisible wall" of games.
He believes that the intended experience of a game is more important than anything else, regardless of what the experience is. He says that we right now make games in a sort of "space" where games are defined in certain genres and games have to follow certain unwritten rules
But yoko taro disagrees. He thinks that true artistic expression would come easier if we were able to break down the "invisible wall" for games
He says that what if we could have a full priced game that only lasts 10 minutes but is the most beautiful 10 minutes you could ever experience, or a game that is so difficult no human could clear it. A truly impossible video game. He's hopeful for a future where games like this can be made, where there is no invisible wall.
Yoko Taro, is also quite the innovator. Hes talked about how he doesn't want to just make a standard video game, or standard RPG, or what have you but that he's always trying to find ways to divert the players expectations. It's why automata is a jrpg but it's also a side scroller action game, a 3D action game, a 2D shoot em up, a 3D shoot em up, and it's why the game constantly switches perspective, it's why the narrative is told through multiple endings that follow the same narrative, etc.
i think the part of my brain that processes music just decided to do an impression of that sleeping seal
What the fuck is that @shrewd sparrow
You wrote a whole essay, ima revise, edit and grade that shit.
I just wanted to praise yoko taros insight a bit
10 mins of the best game ever ? so a match of tekken tag 3
capcom better release it before i die
Imagine the industry if everyone viewed game making like he does
Constant innovation, providing a good experience to the player above everything else, etc.
i think constant innovation would actually backfire
look at death stranding
it's a game of its own, you can literally make a new genre for it specifically because of how different it is
but you remember how people received it
Because everyones been turned into a goblin with modern video games
like often people won't stick around for something thats unusual to them and doesnt immediately give them that oomph, they'd rather just play something that does
It's more profitable to make some mindless cash grab br than a thoughtful artistic expression of ones own mind
its why some people will die without playing an RTS game
Kojima, Miyazaki, and Taro. Where would we be without them
True innovators
It's no coincidence they are Japanese
EA and Activision would be releasing the same game every year
look at FIFA, 23 years and still going strong
actually more
if you count the world cup games they have atleast 50 games in their track record
what
chat
please save me
nah you're done
PLEASE
your best bet is to send an email to sony
Play fifa 2005 and FIFA 22 back to back then play metal gear solid 3 and death stranding back to back
i always say this shit but as long as theres a market for something they wont bother innovating
why spend more money when you can make just as much if not more without doing that
the game hasnt changed at all since i was addicted to it personally back in 14', add 2 or 3 animations each year that no one will use because they're gonna be locked to players you won't get until late in the game's lifecycle and you'll have to spend 500$ to get
update the kits and teams, add a new soundtrack and change the colors of the UI, bundle it up and sell it to people for 60$ again
they essentially sell you the grindey system of ultimate team and the presentation, nothing more
It's crazy how 2 cod games 10 years apart can feel practically identical but playing dark souls and then playing elden ring the difference is night and day
Elden ring is such an innovative video game
It's a culmination of everything they learned, all their other ventures
It revolutionizes open world design and environmental storytelling which they have become known for
its why i always say single player games are always gonna be the benchmark for video game innovation and just how much the industry can achieve
MP games are always gonna be 2nd best imo, you play them to get that itch you need but that's about it
yeah i know there's pvp in them but i personally don't see it as something that's more important than the actual single player portion itself and the bosses
what i do appreciate is the co op aspect
getting together with your buddies and beating up a boss
And co-op
or helping a friend
It's funny how Ubisoft were pioneers. They innovated basically every genre of games from open world, to fighting, to tactical shooter, to extreme sports, etc. And now they've kinda just plateaud
Like ubi had such a good run for a very long time
Now all their shit feels so stale
co op is legit the only form of multiplayer i still tolerate, but as far as getting competitive and spending 3k hours on a game to get really good at it and go online to compete its just not there anymore
for me its like the games where you do go through that system take it out of you for the future, i just don't care anymore, i'm there for the SP experience, once i get that i'm done
ubisoft made the same mistake rockstar is making rn
which is forget about their old IPs and focus on what they think is trending
the problem is that trend eventually will get boring, you gotta mix it up
its why people started hating AC
any franchise that releases yearly eventually gets stale and people get bored of it and start criticizing it, if you're smart like activision you'll know how to repackage it to make it look different
@devout berry feng players build different
or you're EA with a fanbase that just doesnt care
Uh? BO2 feels exactly like MW2… um yeah no
Rockstar isn’t exactly making a mistake at all. They are still making a fuck ton of money… from a fan standpoint its like you should’ve made gta 6 like 2-3 years ago but obviously they were and still are making bank
The problem they face is creating gta online 2.0. It has to be bigger and better which doesn’t always turn out well
Yes and it's amazing game
Good to hear
I have some complaints, but think it's a good game
still debating on buying it
dont buy the mid protocol
Im jk it looks genuinely good
im not spoiling myself so I can buy it sometime next year
Priorities
*brutalities

This the the first animation where I genuinely exclaimed out loud after seeing it
Fatalities
It's so fuckin brutal
Sweet view
@charred gust did you end up beating it?
I git first dead in that game

God damn these animation are amazing i want to check every dead animation
which has better death animations callisto or dead space
Callisto by far
is the protagonist more vocal when he gets ripped apart
Yep

for the immersion... totally...
This should tell you
The animation?
Am idiot i have to turn on auto dogde
the campaign
That's a thing?
8 hours I think
is it very replayable or nah
Last 2 are filler I heard, and it isn't very replayable
@stark oyster got 🎁 Present!
There's no NG+ features or nothing
yeah thats post launch i saw
Can you send the road map?
Hmm
kinda feels like something youd expect at launch tbh but its cool anyways i guess
Why they adding a harder mode though
how many difficulties are there in the base game?
@dire ferry got 🎁 Present!
maybe hardcore will be something more advanced like permadeath or item/enemy placement changes kinda like madhouse mode from resident evil 7
I think on maximum you get 2 hit by basically everything
So hard-core probably does item stuff yea
Maybe less ammo
Because healing isn't as important on maximum
are there any unlockables
hardcore will probably have unlockable skins assuming skins arent exclusively paid content
I don't think there will be any extra skins and stuff
Only for the Season pass it seems
yeah idk i remember dead space had a bunch of alternative armors but i think those effected gameplay so idk if callisto would have those either
Maybe in the story dlc?
I hope for NG+ they allow skip cutscenes
I like the cutscenes
oh yea does callisto have video cutscenes or in-game
ng+ and a new difficulty is a perfect update tbh
Both I think
i wish some other game that came out this year did that
A bit shallow actually
dead space is pretty much all in-game cutscenes so the whole game is a seamless run through without any loading screens unless you die or load checkpoint
its a linear game so it kinda makes sense
There's a fair amount of just "sit here and watch this"
both ng+ and hardcore mode seem like really simple things that youd expect from most games at launch so hopefully theres something unique about them
at least hardcore mode should have something unique
you have that in dead space too but it looks like it happens within gameplay cuz the transitions are just loss of control and camera starts moving
its really good considering the age of the games
@stark oyster got 🎁 Present!
Please tell me this is fake 😭
doom Slayer and hero academia are also going to be there
- mrbeast
This and Doom Slayer both are coming to fortnite
I'm so mad
still can't believe Mr Beast is now canon in fortnite
My rage cannot be contained
@fleet gulch got 🎁 Present!
Hero academia looks like ass so I don't care
@stark oyster got 🎁 Present!
Fortnite Volatile skin when?
Ask Uncy
A lot of Fortnite players are confused about the new chunky green robot skin. So I looked into it.
Master Chef is a character from the video game franchise, Call of Duty. They probably added him to the game now because they just released Call of Duty: Infinity Wars this month. Its a 3rd person shooter game where you either play as Masterchef or...
I'm having a sttroke

What the ... Cdpr what have you done

Get techland to add a volatile to fortnite
And aiden , waltz , kyle crane
Nightrunner in Fortnite when?
In game
And also, @stark oyster
I like the cut scenes too, But when Permadeath is added. Watching them all every time you die is going to be infuriating
I don't think they'll add permadeath
The season pass
The contagion mode is where players will have customized difficulty with Permadeath
There's no point of that
A new experience, New enemy placements and all for a harder difficulty with permadeath, That's great idk what you mean
TLOU2 Grounded Permadeath [Whole Game]
was the most fun I've ever had
That's not a great amount of replay value
Permadeath doesn't just magically make it replayable
For the average person, they beat a game and move on
Well the people like myself who really enjoy this game
Will stick around and do permadeath
@stark oyster got 🎁 Present!
So less than 50% of the playerbase
Why does that matter?
@stark oyster got 🎁 Present!
Meaningless update
Yeah, For you
I'm hyped for it
I love a good challenge
and I love this games combat
@stark oyster got 🎁 Present!
Despite what you might think, A lot of people love permadeath modes
TLOU2 Permadeath was very popular for the people who actually loved TLOU2
Less than half the player base 💀
What does it matter
The devs adding permadeath doesn't affect you negatively whatsoever
Doesn't benefit me neither does it
"I wonder if they added anything to that game"
"They only added permadeath."
"I'll just play something else
"
But it benefits others You don't like it. Whoopty fucking doo, Cry about it. Just wait for the other DLC's
You're the one pinging me over this
I legitimately stated a valid reason to why they need a skip cutscene option
You're the one who started crying about it
You're the one butthurt that I said it's a meaningless update
It won't grasp enough players back to play it
Actual content will
They don't care about that
They do
You can tell this is more of a passion project than dead space
DLCs will bring people back
EA ruined Dead Space
Striking Distance just want to make a game they're passionate about. And they think permadeath is a good addition, And I agree.
@stark oyster got 🎁 Present!
You can agree all you want, but I don't think it's a good change
NG+ is already a barely good change
This is a linear game, no rewards for beating it. So no reward for going back through
I mean
There's always achievements. Bragging rights, And of course. The reward of "Wow holy shit I just did that, I'm amazing"
@honest crane got 🎁 Present!
Yes. I'm hyped for it.

TLOU2 Grounded Permadeath was a LOAD of fun
TLoU2's story was terrible
The whole morale of it is "revenge is bad wahhhhh" but still let's the worst things happen
Lemme guess
You're one of those people who's just mad that joel got a hole in one
Not necessarily
I'm mad that the morale of it is so backwards
Abby was mad that her dad got killed > kills Joel > Ellie doesn't do shit about it > let's Abby live > gets a terrible outcome
You have to play as Abby through like half the story don't you?
Like what
It's like the biggest bitch slap I've ever seen a game do to you lol
It's because Ellie realizes ;-;
She's so set on revenge that she lost everything to try get it.
And she also understands that killing her won't bring him back or anything.
The story was very bold. But I like that.
@somber valve didnt even get to use bw 😔
The risk they took was huge, But to me ultimately worth it
i looped a wesker for 4 gens because there are just many pallets
Basically it means that she just loses everything because top tier writing
You're too braindead to connect with the story, Clearly. And that's why I say the risks were big. Because people already decided they hated TLOU2 as soon as joels death got leaked
i still stand by that point until im dead
My main grievance
